EU-InnovatE stands for 'Sustainable Lifestyles 2.0: End User Integration, Innovation and Entrepreneurship'. The key idea of the EU research project is to investigate the creative, innovative and entrepreneurial roles of end user to develop sustainable products, services and systems ("Sustainable Lifestyles 2.0").
The large-scale research project includes 14 leading institutions and around 40 researchers. It receives funding from the European Commision of the 7th EU’s Research Framework Programme 2014-2016. Prof. Dr. Frank-Martin Belz is coordinator of EU-InnovatE, assisted by Julia Binder, Reinhard von Wittken and Henrike Purtik as part of the project team.
